I love that Montessori teaches invaluable lessons for life. Recycling common classroom items and reducing our water usage were top lessons this week. The children certainly grasped the crucial purpose; protecting our natural resources for all living things.
We crafted new objects from old items to demonstrate repurposing. The children have taken their earth-friendly lessons to heart! They are graciously reminding their friends to turn off the water and only to use one paper towel after washing. Children are so excited to practice earth-friendly habits at home, too. We can learn much from our children!
